Modern cosmetic techniques mean that it is now possible to improve the look of your smile and achieve a long lasting natural appearance, from simple tooth whitening to complete smile makeovers. We can offer a variety of services to help make the most of your smile.

Tooth whitening We offer the "illumine" system. This is a gentle treatment of night time tray bleaching over 10 to 14 days. After a year occasional top ups may be required. Please ask for a leaflet or ask for further details.

Metal fillngs Traditional method of rebuilding back teeth. These can last up to 10 years, depending on the size of filling, your bite on the filling and how well your mouth is maintained.

White fillings These give a much better appearance than metal fillings and are cheaper than placing crowns. However in some situations they might not last as long as metal fillings. Your dentist will advise you.

Advanced work and Smile Makeovers

We offer our "standard" service or "ultimate" makeover service. The "Ultimate" service is with one of the top UK technicians who can truly transform your smile. It will entail a visit to his lab (in Hawick) for shade matching, but the results are stunning. This service and our standard service includes:

Porcelain veneers: Thin shells to transform discoloured or misshaped teeth. Can last up 10 years in a well-maintained mouth.

Crowns: Can build up and strengthen weak teeth. The remaining tooth has to be shaped then the crown fitted, ask for our metal free crowns for the best appearance,: can last between 5 and 15 years.

Bridges: Replace missing teeth with crowns, avoiding the need for a denture. Can last 5 to 15 years.

Inlays: Porcelain or gold fillings, much stronger than fillings made "in the mouth" can last 5 to 15 years.

Dentures: A wide variety of dentures to give a natural appearance with a good fit.

Implants: These can hold in bridges, crowns or dentures. We would refer you to an implant specialist for these treatments.

Orthodontics: Crooked or uneven teeth can be straightened, even in adults, using braces. We would refer you to an orthodontic specialist for this treatment.
